June 1977
EMCO Maier Corporation was established in Columbus Ohio to be the North American Sales Headquarters for EMCO Maier Austria.

For 31 years EMCO Maier has been supplying high performance production turning equipment to the USA, Canadian and Mexican markets. 

January 2009
EMCO Maier USA a division of A-TEC, introduces Venture Machine Tools. A new product line for products produced exclusively for EMCO Maier USA to be sold in the North American Market.

January 2009
Venture Vertical Machining Centers introduced.
